Rangers have been struggling as of late in the Scottish Premier League as Steven Gerrard’s troops have fallen behind in the race for the league title as well as being knocked out of the League Cup.
The champions are still going strong and with only two wins in the last five games in the domestic competition for the Light Blues, Rangers’ bitter rivals are now a total of 12 points in front of the opposition. Indeed, alarm bells could well have sounded following their recent Scottish Cup loss to Hearts as Gerrard himself put his situation in doubt as he said he’d question his future, stating that he’ll have to have a serious think about it.
But just recently, he came out with rallying comments, saying that he will stay on at the club and learn from the mistakes that were obviously made in the past.

Andrew Dickson provided his own opinion on the matter on Twitter, saying that Gerrard’s reaction is not really surprising but that learning from their mistakes will be crucial if Rangers are to move forward.
Clearly, the situation is certainly not ideal but nothing is lost just yet and the Gers’ impressive form in the Europa League is certainly something to shout about.
