Rangers will be pleased with the start to life under Steven Gerrard already and will be hoping it can continue for as long as possible.
The new Ibrox chief has already been making waves in Glasgow for the Light Blues since his arrival, having made a number of additions to the side to make them better suited for a challenge.
Gerrard passed his first test earlier in the week with a victory against FK Shkupi to progress to the next round of the Europa League, although he knows he will be judged on how well his side will do in the Scottish Premiership.
The 27-year-old had two years at Ibrox, however, he never really managed to get going and spent last season out on loan with AFC Wimbledon.
The Verdict:

The release of Forrester will not come as a surprise to many at Rangers as the winger was not deemed to have a future under Gerrard, with a number of the club’s fanbase feeling he was not at the level required.
The new boss has added a significant amount of depth to his squad recently and with competition for places fiercer than ever, players will have been needed to be offloaded to balance the books.
The winger agreed to terminate the remainder of his contract with the Light Blues, with just a year left to run and will be hoping to be with a new club before the start of the season.
