Many Rangers fans are in heavy debate after Alan Temple, who is a reporter at the Capital City Press, has given an update surrounding Neil Doncaster and voting for how the league will finish this season.
According to Temple, “Dave Cormack has just confirmed that Neil Doncaster told Aberdeen their vote would no longer matter prior to them submitting it.”
Rangers were not happy with Doncaster, who is Chief Executive of the Scottish Professional Football League, and made their concerns known earlier in the week as the League were close to abandoning the current season and relegating Heart of Midlothian as well as giving Old Firm rivals Celtic their ninth title in a row, per The Guardian.
It is a very difficult situation currently has football has not been postponed due to events like the current one since World War Two, so everyone is not sure the best way to go forward.
However Rangers have been frustrated with the idea that the season’s rules can just change halfway through a campaign and want it to be completed to make sure it is fair for everyone in the division.
Here is what fans had to say following the news:
Now Dave Cormack has just confirmed that Neil Doncaster told Aberdeen their vote would no longer matter prior to them submitting it. Yep, totally normal. Nothing wrong with this voting process at all. No siree bob.

Recap:
~ misleading and completely brazen, unethical calls made to individual clubs still to vote
~ results announced prior to all clubs voting (key votes being received)
~ a ballot paper gone missing
~ 1 club given the opportunity to change their vote and hold additional talks— Andy H (@HammyHendricks) April 18, 2020
Think a need to know how many clubs Doncaster phoned and when they voted.

The question is, if Doncaster telephoned and said their vote didn’t matter, why did they then vote YES?

Just get it finished. One up one down. Call the season. Prep for next season.
