Plenty of Rangers fans on Twitter have been waxing lyrical about winger Ryan Kent after seeing a compilation of some of his highlights for the Light Blues on Twitter. The two-and-a-half minute video reel was shared by ‘Gers supporter @Pena_Cartel on the social media platform.

The compilation shows clips of the 23-year-old bamboozling opposition defences with deft ball control and mazy dribbles and is rounded off by a clip of the goal that he scored in Rangers’ recent derby victory away to Celtic. That was the winger’s fifth goal of the season so far, supplemented by three assists, as he has built upon the six goals that he struck while on loan from Liverpool in 2018/19.
The dribbling exploits displayed by Kent in the highlights reel are substantiated by he figures he has posted for the club. He has recorded 2.8 successful dribbles for Steven Gerrard’s side in the Europa League this term and even that is down on his match average of 4.7 for the same metric last season, while he has drawn 1.8 fouls per game in the current campaign after an average of two per game last term (via WhoScored).
