Jordan Rossiter is a man who Steven Gerrard will be determined to see come good. The young midfielder joined Rangers from Liverpool back in 2016 and has so far struggled to leave his mark in Glasgow to owing to numerous injury problems. The 21-year-old made his first start in the league this season yesterday and the fans were pleased with his performance.

During his post-match interview, Rossier was keen to apologise for the mistake he made in the build-up to Hamilton’s equalising goal, however, it would be harsh to hold it against him seeing as he’s only just get getting back into first-team action and for the most part he put in a great shift at the heart of the Gers’ midfield. Next up for Rossiter will be completing 90 minutes in the Scottish Premier League and he could do that on Thursday.
Whilst the Scottish Premier League is one thing, the Europa league is a whole different ball game. Rossiter will hope he’s done enough to warrant a place in the starting eleven at Ibrox this Thursday when Spartak Moscow come calling, it’s a huge game for the Bluenoses and a win puts them in prime position to win the group, an achievement that Rossiter would be more than proud to be a part of.
You can read the Gers’ verdict on Rossiter here:
Delighted for Rossiter to be back playing – fair play to the lad too for putting his hand up and accepting blame for the goal. Hopefully he can get a run of games and avoid injury.

good first game back on a trying surface. Certainly gives SG another option going forward as he will only get better with match fitness.
