Rangers fans were feeling over the moon after the club confirmed that their tie with Bayer Leverkusen will go ahead.
In a tweet from their Twitter account, the Glasgow outfit also said fans will still be allowed to attend. Reports from earlier today were pretty worrying after it was claimed that UEFA were considering postponing the Europa League and Champions League (via Marca). However, the update from the club will be music to the ears of supporters, who have seen the club lose just one game so far this term.
Rangers have enjoyed some famous nights at Ibrox including victories over Portugal giants Porto and a comeback victory over Braga. It seems to have been a distraction away from domestic competitions, where they sit 13 points behind fierce rivals Celtic and were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Hearts. Supporters were elated with the news that their fixture is set to go ahead as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets:
