Many Rangers fans have been buzzing at a tweet involving Steven Davis that recently emerged on social media.
The official Rangers Twitter account relayed a post about Davis, saying that the midfielder has now completed 300 games for the Gers. The tweet described Davis’ career to be an ‘illustrious’ one because he has broken one record after another. It also carried a link to an article on the club’s website.

The article included the appearance records that Davis has broken for club and country in recent months – the midfielder is now just 23 matches away from making 800 career appearances for all clubs and country combined.
The 36-year-old had joined Rangers from Southampton initially on a loan deal in January 2019, but the move was made permanent in the summer of 2019, when he arrived at Ibrox on a free transfer for his second permanent stint in Glasgow (as per Transfermarkt).
He has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season and Steven Gerrard has heaped praise on the midfielder already, saying: “From a footballing point of view, I knew he was a top professional, a competitor and a wonderful footballer.”
