Rangers: Fans fume at Calvin Bassey performance

A number of Rangers supporters have criticised Calvin Bassey’s performance in the 1-0 defeat to Sparta Prague in the Europa League.
Steven Gerrard’s side traded domestic commitments for European action on Thursday night, making the trip to the Czech Republic.
The hope was that the Gers would bounce back from their 2-0 defeat at home to Lyon in their last Europa League game, but that didn’t prove to be the case.
Who should Rangers sign in January?
Danilo Doekhi

Jed Wallace

Ciaron Brown

Mirko Ivanic

Prague ended up sealing a 1-0 victory thanks to David Hancko’s first-half goal, while Glen Kamara was sent-off for the visitors after the break, adding to their woes.
One player who had a tough evening was Bassey, who struggled for Rangers in a centre-back role and was arguably one of their poorest performers on the night managing just a 6.9 match rating (Sofascore).
