Rangers: Gers eye Ethan Robson move
According to Football Insider, Glasgow Rangers are set to do battle with Motherwell in a Deadline Day race to sign Blackpool’s Ethan Robson.

The Ibrox outfit have made two new signings so far this window, with Jack Simpson (rangers.co.uk) and Scott Wright putting pen to paper on pre-contract deals.
Now, though, it seems they are eyeing midfielder Robson, who currently plays in League One for the The Seasiders. Motherwell, though, are also interested.

Steven Gerrard has a number of options available to him in the middle of the park – Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara, Scott Arfield and Steven Davis have all been important players for the 54-time Scottish champions this season. As such, you would hope any new signing would provide something special.

With all due respect to Robson, he does not appear to have that in his locker. He has just seven senior goals at the age of 24 (Transfermarkt), and has never played top-flight football in his career. This could well be a big gamble from Ross Wilson and co if they get a deal over the line.
