Rangers: Fans laud Steven Davis

Glasgow Rangers fans have nothing but praise for Steven Davis after the midfielder made his 300th appearance for the club against Motherwell.

The Gers were only able to pick up a 1-1 draw at Fir Park. Devante Cole gave the home side the lead, but fortunately for the Ibrox outfit, Cedric Itten was on hand to level things up to maintain the Gers’ unbeaten run in the Premiership (Sky Sports). The draw gave them a 21-point lead at the top of the table with 14 games to play.

Davis started the match, which means that he has now reached 300 appearances for the club across two spells (Belfast Telegraph). Those games have seen him win three league titles, two Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups, while he also helped the Gers to the 2008 UEFA Cup final. He will be hoping to add to that trophy haul this campaign.
