Kevin Phillips has told Football Insider that Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos will likely be on the wishlist of plenty of clubs this summer.
Interest will be high in Morelos
Morelos was the subject of heavy interest last summer, with the likes of Lille, AC Milan and Marseille all interested in his services.

In the end, though, he stayed at Ibrox, but Phillips believes that the demand for his signature will remain high in a few months. He said:
“For any player that wants a move, all you can do is what you do best – put in performances and in his case score goals. There is no point making noises off the pitch, getting sent off or challenging your manager.
“Last weekend, he grabbed two cracking finishes and he showed that he is a good finisher. That is the way that you will turn heads.
“Morelos is definitely a player that, come the summer, will be on a lot of club’s radars – they’ll be lining up – especially if he continues to perform.”
Important few months
This promises to be an important few months for the Colombia international. He has already made it clear that he wants to play in a more prestigious league (The Herald), but in the meantime, he is likely to have a big role to play as the 54-time Scottish champions aim for a first major trophy in ten years.

As such, it is vital he rediscovers his best form. His brace against Aberdeen was a step in the right direction, but that is something he must now do on a regular basis. Not only will that help Steven Gerrard’s side reach their objectives this campaign, but it will also help him secure a move he clearly desires. And the better he plays, the more chance Rangers have of receiving a fee that matches the £13m valuation that they reportedly have placed upon him (The Athletic).
