Glasgow Rangers fans are far from happy with an article from Bill Leckie in The Scottish Sun.
The Gers are enjoying a fantastic run of form at the moment. They are currently top of the Premiership by 13 points, went on a 27-game unbeaten run in all competitions before their 3-2 defeat to St. Mirren in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals, and they are also through to the Europa League round of 32.

The loss to St. Mirren will be disappointing, but given the way they have performed this season, the Gers will not be too worried. Journalist Leckie, though, does not think that the Ibrox outfit are all that good at all. He made a Star Wars analogy, saying that they are like the Death Star and adding that they may have a big flaw but nobody is smart enough to expose it.

The Gers fans were quick to notice the article, and it is fair to say they were absolutely livid with it. They took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts on the piece, with one calling it pure ‘bitterness’.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Leckie below
I’m just glad he doesn’t write about politics or like serious stuff…….hopefully. It’s pretty disgraceful tho, football is life for lots of people and guys like him are sometimes the only voice of the game they have access to. I prefer fans opinion pages. Better chat.

Absolute toilet paper. Ignore him and his kind. We keep winning, that’s all we need to do. The media doing all they can to derail current form. The inevitable will happen and when it does, they will crawl back into their holes.

A cup of loneliness with 2 spoons of bitterness and just a wee spot of vindictiveness. ☕️

The MSM and the lonely Mr Leckie are just willing us to trip up. When we lift #55 to a packed Ibrox will ruin them for years to come.
