Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to a tweet from journalist Tom English on Dave King after his appearance on the Moving the Goalposts podcast.
King has been involved with the Ibrox outfit since 2000, investing in the club heavily since then. He was with the Gers as they went into administration in 2012 (BBC), and he has helped them return to the Premiership and close in on a first title in 10 years since then.

On the podcast, he was enjoying the 54-time Scottish champions’ recent success. English commented on his appearance, and mentioned comments made by King in 2018 – he had predicted that Celtic would fold like a “house of cards” (The Scottish Sun), something which has actually happened.

English didn’t agree with those comments and made that clear on Twitter. His comments attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and the took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
