In a huge game in the Premiership title race, Glasgow Rangers put in one of their dullest performances of the season in the first half against Celtic, especially in the opening 20 minutes. Leon Balogun in particular had a worrisome first half.

Celtic started the brighter of the two sides at Ibrox, but they were unable to make their early pressure count. With the Gers 16 points clear at the top of the table, they would likely be happy with a point. However, a victory would put them in an even stronger position with just 16 games left to play.
Balogun, though, struggled against the Gers’ Glasgow rivals. He looked flustered at times, and it seemed that Celtic’s game plan was to target the left-side of the back four, where the Nigeria international and Borna Barisic looked a little lost in the opening period.
