Plenty of Rangers fans have been reacting to a tweet speaking out in favour of young winger Jake Hastie, who is currently on loan at Rotherham in English League One.

Twitter user @RangersSparess expressed a desire to see the 21-year-old being recalled to Ibrox as understudy to Jordan Jones and also called for the loan of Sheyi Ojo to be prematurely ended in January.
Probably an unpopular opinion but I’d send Ojo back in January and bring Hastie back as backup to jones if he stays fit. I’m sure Hastie would give more effort than Ojo and he’s not scared to take a player on plus he already knows the league.

Hastie has scored three goals and provided one assist in 12 matches for Rotherham so far this season, having played just twice for Rangers’ first team in the early weeks of the campaign prior to his loan move. [via TransferMarkt]
Ojo has scored five goals and set up another seven for Steven Gerrard’s side during his loan spell from Liverpool, but the 22-year-old hasn’t found the net since mid-September and has drawn the ire of some fans for recent performances, while also being called out by ex-Gers defender Alan Hutton over a lack of consistency (as per Football Insider).
