Real Madrid moved to the top of La Liga with a 2-0 win against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Goals from Brazilian duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo were enough to seal the three points for Los Blancos, who have now won back-to-back matches for the first time in the 2019/20 campaign.
The game also saw goalkeeper Alphonse Areola make his debut for the Spanish giants. The Frenchman joined the club in the summer from PSG as part of a deal which saw Keylor Navas move the other way, but has had to wait for his chance to play.
Zinedine Zidane finally gave him that opportunity on Wednesday, opting to rest regular goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois ahead of their derby against Atletico Madrid at the weekend.
The 26-year-old was assured on debut and kept a clean sheet. He also produced an absolutely stunning one-handed catch that resembled something you would see in an NFL match, which certainly impressed the Madrid faithful.
Courtois has struggled since arriving in Madrid in 2018, going on the longest run of his career without keeping a clean sheet before finally getting one against Sevilla last weekend.
Several fans are unconvinced by the Belgian following his shaky start to life at the Bernabeu, and have suggested that Areola should continue in the side going forward. Here is what a few of them have been saying on Twitter…
