Finally West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have something to cheer about following last Friday’s win against Tottenham Hotspur.

What made the win against Spurs even sweeter for the resident Hammers in the Tavern was that it more or less derailed their bitter rivals’ title dreams.

The performance from Slaven Bilic’s men led to many individuals in the Tavern asking what if they had been able to reproduce that level of performance consistently.

What hasn’t helped Bilic and his men is the injury problems sustained by Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio and alongside the departure of Dimitri Payet in January, this has meant the Hammers have struggled to produce that x-factor that provides goals and wins games.

This has led to our landlord describing this summer transfer window as vital for Bilic and West Ham.

Of course, there will be some faces in through the door but our resident Irons in the Tavern have been discussing who realistically needs to make way in order to ensure there is room for these new faces.

It is a discussion that has captured the imagination of many Hammers in the Tavern with many of their squad mentioned.

With that said, here are the TWO main names who could realistically leave West Ham this summer…

Ashley Fletcher

With West Ham being linked with every striker under the sun and Fletcher only finding the net once this season, will the 21-year-old find himself axed by Slaven Bilic when the summer comes round?

Our landlord certainly believes so and feels that the Hammer fans have every right to be disappointed with Fletcher’s showing since his move from Manchester United to the London Stadium.

He has even gone as far to say that Fletcher should even move down a league to find his standard of football.

Adrian

With Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol eyeing up Adrian, our landlord believes the 30-year-old could be axed by Bilic in order to accommodate a new goalkeeper.

The Spaniard has found himself in and out the Hammers side of late, and with reports circulating that he is frustrated after finding himself behind Darren Randolph for much of the season, a move away from the London Stadium may not be far away.
