Liverpool suffered one of the most shocking defeats in Premier League history on Sunday against Aston Villa.
The Reds started the season in positive fashion, winning each of their first three games in the top tier, including victories against Chelsea and Arsenal. However, against the Villains, they were hammered 7-2 by a side that finished 17th in the table.

The first goal in that drubbing from the Midlands outfit can only be blamed on Adrian. The Spaniard came into the side in place of the injured Alisson, and his poor pass led to Ollie Watkins being able to give Villa the lead from a Jack Grealish assist.
Adrian was slammed by Liverpool fans for his performance, and it seems Jurgen Klopp and co may be looking to solve that problem with a move for Paulo Gazzaniga according to The Independent. It seems the Reds fans themselves would be absolutely delighted to take the 28-year-old to Anfield, with one fan even saying he would celebrate it more than signing Thiago, who came in from Bayern Munich earlier in the window.
