With the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern gearing up for an early trip to Ibrox tomorrow, debate is raging in and around our bar.
Indeed, the Bhoys in the bar are discussing the complexion of Brendan Rodgers’ team tomorrow, with a Champions League game coming up early next week.
Following his two goals against Dundee in the week, we asked our punters, should James Forrest start over Patrick Roberts on the right? Rangers’ defensive injury crisis suggests either could be in for a productive afternoon, though Forrest is in particularly good form.
However, the Scotland international has never proven to be the most popular figure in our bar, with many believing he’s failed to live up to his full potential. Such a feeling is evident in the results, with only 42% of voters wanting him to start.
That means Roberts – yet to really get going since rejoining – raked in a whopping 58% of votes ahead of tomorrow’s Old Firm.
Thoughts?
