With life going really rather well at Chelsea right now, the supporters in the Transfer Tavern have been able to enjoy the closing stages of this Premier League campaign relatively stress-free indeed.
Though there’s still so much to play for, the Blues in the bar are rather confident of seeing the top prize in English football return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and can fully dream about potential summer signings. Rather interestingly enough, the west London locals have been met with intriguing reports from the Daily Telegraph.
They claimed those in SW6 were considering a £100m double swoop on Everton for BOTH Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley this summer, much to the delight of our locals. Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the league and, having previously played at the club, could be the perfect striker signing.
Barkley, meanwhile, has had a tough time of things this season, though has seen his form improve of late and the notion of seeing him arrive is an interesting one for our locals to think about.
