Aginst St Johnstone before the international break, Tom Rogic bagged himself a hat-trick of assists, then yesterday, when returning to Scottish Premier League action after scoring for Australia, the 25-year-old opened the scoring at Parkhead.

The Australian midfielder is one that the fans always expect to perform and he very rarely lets them down. When he’s not scoring and assisting goals, the playmaker is making the side tick and he’s one of those that the team would sorely miss if they were to be without him. In 15 games this season he’s managed three assists and three goals and whilst the fans love seeing him creating and scoring, his game is a lot more than just goals.
Celtic’s #18 was hooked with just under 20 minutes to play yesterday and his 72 minutes of action were enough for him to be awarded the Dafabet man of the match for his fine display in his side’s 4-2 win. After he got the ball rolling it was up to Olivier Ntcham and Odsonne Edouard to do the rest as the Hoops now sit 2nd in the table, just three points behind the league leaders, Hearts, who beat Aberdeen 2-1 yesterday.
