Celtic yesterday made it three Scottish League Cup finals in a row when they dispatched Hearts 3-0 at Murrayfield in the semi-final, setting up a meeting with Aberdeen in the final. However, whilst the fans have been lavishing praise on most of the squad, the short cameo appearance from Eboue Kouassi had fans talking.

After starting on Thursday evening against RB Leipzig in Germany, the Ivorian midfielder was again trusted by Brendan Rodgers to start and whilst he only lasted 26 minutes before coming off with a knee injury, the young midfielder managed to impress the fans as he set the tempo for the game and helped his side keep control of the match in the early stages.
The midfielder was caught up in a moment of madness with Hearts Steve MacLean where the Hearts striker appeared to grab Kouassi in an area where no man wants to be grabbed. Even after that, though, the 20-year-old bravely battled on until he was forced off with a knee injury. At the moment the length of his lay off is unknown but the Hoops will be keen to have him back as soon as possible and back ready for the cup final in December.
