Scott Sinclair’s poor form this season is no secret. The former Manchester City and Aston Villa man has been in awful form for the Hoops and a lot of the fans have been calling for him to spend some time on the bench, however, after he bagged a penalty yesterday in a 3-0 win over Motherwell, the fans are backing him to turn things around.

So much in football revolves around confidence, and it seems evident that the 29-year-old is struggling with his confidence. After a poor start to the season, the 2016/17 Scottish Premier League player of the season has found himself with just six goals and five assists in his 30 appearances so far this season, and three of those six goals have come from the penalty spot.
Yesterday’s goal was one of those, as the English winger scored from 12 yards to give his side a crucial two-goal lead against Motherwell at Parkhead. After his goal, the Hoops were all calling for their once electric winger to turn things around this season, and try to match the feats achieved in his first two years at the club, in which he;s scored 30 Scottish Premier League goals.

The Hoops have been desperate for Sinclair to have an upturn in form, and after bagging yesterday they’ll hope it can come now.
