While it was a hugely successful 2018 for Celtic, the year ended in disappointment for the Glasgow club following their 1-0 defeat to bitter rivals Rangers in the Old Firm at Ibrox over the weekend.
With the January transfer window now here, though, supporters may soon be able to put that loss behind them as the SPL champions gear up to bring in some very exciting names to freshen up the squad, according to latest reports.
According to the Daily Star, Celtic are working on deals for Timothy Weah, Issouf Bayo and Oliver Burke with manager Brendan Rodgers looking to bolster his attack.
And given how things went down during the previous transfer window last summer, acquiring the above players would come as a massive boost, especially with Rodgers now without Leigh Griffiths.
The additions of Weah and Burke, in particular, two players seen as having great potential, could completely change the complexion of the title race in Scotland with it currently being tight at the top between the two giants of Glasgow.
Since bursting onto the scene at Nottingham Forest, Burke has struggled at West Brom and RB Leipzig, though he remains an individual with a lot of ability who may just need a change in scenery, something Celtic are said to be offering.
Meanwhile, Weah is thought to be highly rated at Paris Saint-Germain, a European powerhouse who have already provided the Bhoys with Odsonne Edouard who has proven to be a success at Celtic Park.
