While Brendan Rodgers clearly has an awful lot of credit in the bank after a stunning double treble run that’s seen the Bhoys dominant domestically, yesterday’s late loss at Kilmarnock has raised serious questions amongst supporters.
Indeed, the Hoops trail league leaders Heart of Midlothian by six points and, while this is still an early point in the campaign, the wheels seemed to have slowed down on the Celtic machine. After a difficult summer on the transfer front, things look a bit stale at Parkhead.
Following yesterday’s loss away at Kilmarnock, some Hoops fans are even calling for a change managerially. Brendan Rodgers doesn’t seem best pleased in his role at the moment and some sections of support are suggesting a return for current Hibernian boss and former Bhoys legend Neil Lennon.
The Northern Irishman has built a wonderfully exciting team in Edinburgh and remains a popular figure amongst the Celtic fanbase, having won eight league titles during his time as a player and a manager with the club.
Having said all that, here’s a look at the calls on social media.

Neil Lennon? Brendan Rodgers needs to be questioned. I love the man. Always will but things need to turn around now. Next game, we lose, he has to go.
