Celtic after a poor start are now back to their best with the players looking ready to face any challenge they may have domestically or in Europe.
Brendan Rodgers has brilliantly managed his team and got them back on track after an array of results.
Consistency is key in any division and now that Celtic have that back, they can push on to achieve more silverware this season.
That is a lot easier to come by with the right quality embedded in the squad and with the January transfer window drawing closer by the day, Celtic could really further their team with a couple of strong additions.
In regards to what they need, another forward would be good to provide competition to Odsonne Edouard and that could be found in Everton’s Oumar Niasse.
The 28-year-old, (who is valued at £7.2 million on Transfermarkt) would be a very smart move from Celtic if they’re after a hard worker and a player who knows where the back of the net is.
There is no doubting how well Edouard has been playing but all it takes is one injury for the Frenchman to be out of action, and that’s where Oumar Niasse comes into the equation.
The Senegalese international has made it onto the pitch in the Premier League for just 48 minutes this season, despite scoring 12 times last season.
Everton are surely not set to keep hold of Oumar Niasse but Celtic could be very interested in planning his next move to Scotland.
With the masses of games that Celtic will still be playing in this season, it is imperative they have an alternative goalscoring source as back-up, someone like Oumar Niasse.
