Rangers fans buzzing over Cup semi-final ticket news

Scottish football has had a bit of an on-going issue regarding tickets. Aberdeen play Rangers whilst Celtic play Hearts in the Scottish League Cup semi-final as the four clubs aim to win the first piece of silverware of the season and ticketing has been particularly difficult. However, Rangers released a statement on their club website yesterday providing an update and the fans loved it.

Rangers will be hoping that this trip to Hampden is a successful one, and now that they’ve got the lion’s share of the tickets there’s even more positivity surrounding the clash. For Steven Gerrard’s side, the clash with Aberdeen provides them with an excellent chance of going one step closer to their first piece of major silverware under Gerrard and an opportunity to end Celtic’s run of domestic dominance.

After their club took to Twitter to share their statement over ticketing, a lot of fans were loving life and showed as much in the comments. The Gers will be buzzing to pack out Hampden Park, and whilst it’s not quite the same as a European night at Ibrox, they’ll have just as much passion and be right behind their side as they aim to book a return date to Hampden to face one of either Hearts or Celtic.
