Rangers fans take to twitter to rave over McGregor as he scoops up November POTM award

Rangers fans have absolutely loved it this season as Steven Gerrard has reunited them with Allan McGregor. The Scottish goalkeeper has already shown what a quality goalkeeper can do for your side as his world-class stops have kept them in games and won them points this season.

Whilst the fans are delighted with McGregor and have loved his return to Ibrox, it is worrying when your ‘keeper is the man scooping up the individual awards at the club. Ibrox is a place that was once feared by everyone in Scottish football, but over the last few weeks Stevie G’s side have shown signs of frailties, meanwhile, their Old Firm rivals have only found another gear, and it will be something the Gers are keen to match.

It’s not hard to see why McGregor has won the in-club player of the month award for November. The 36-year-old conceded five goals in his five outings, although four of those came all at once away at Spartak Moscow during the Gers’ 4-3 loss in Russia. His one goal conceded in the Scottish Premier League last month really stands out as a phenomenal stat, and whilst the fans want more from the rest of their side, they’re over the moon with their man between the sticks.

The Bluenoses are in no doubt that McGregor was their top performer in November, and will hope there’s more choice for POTM come the end of December.
