Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Andy Halliday departure

On Tuesday, Glasgow Rangers confirmed a mass clear-out at the end of this campaign.
They announced that no less than six players will be leaving the club as free agents at the end of this term. Those departing are Wes Foderingham, Jon Flanagan, Jordan Rossiter, Jason Holt, Jak Alnwick and Andy Halliday, with them free to now look for new clubs.
The departure of the latter, in particular, appears to have been particularly hard for the club’s supporters to take. The 28-year-old is an avid Gers supporters, and has spent five years at the club, making 152 appearances along the way. Some may have questioned his ability, but it seems that his love for the club has won him plenty of points with the fans.

Absolutely gutted to see Andy go, he lived the dream and you could see it every time he pulled on the jersey. Time for both parties to move on, hopefully he can crack on somewhere and enjoy the rest of his career! https://t.co/wVjOxIJfwx

I shed a tear reading that we are getting rid of Halliday not gonna lie, boys living the dream playing for his boyhood club and has given everything on the pitch and taken absolute pelters off the pitch. https://t.co/6RxwwqztKj
