Glasgow Rangers: Fans hammer Michael Stewart’s comments

Glasgow Rangers are said to be within touching distance of completing a move for Ianis Hagi.
The 10-time Romania international made the move to Ibrox in January on loan, with the Gers having a €5m (£4.5m) purchase option in that deal to sign him. During his short time with the 54-time Scottish champions so far, he has impressed – for example, he scored twice against Braga as the Gers came back from 2-0 to win 3-2 in the UEFA Europa League (BBC Sport).
The Gers will be hoping that the Genk man can help them close the gap to their fierce rivals Celtic next season, but pundit Michael Stewart has other questions. He has asked how the Gers can afford to spend that amount of money on a player if they recently lost £11m and needed another £10m to see the season out.
Will Hagi be at Rangers next season?
Yes

No

The club’s supporters have not taken too well to his comments in any shape or form, and they have logged in to Twitter to share their thoughts – one fan even called him an “absolute embarrassment.”

This man is a serial failure and quite frankly I’m glad he’s still hurting after the trail we gave him https://t.co/803ZtCCc34

It gives me immense pleasure to think of wee Mikey’s brain rattling about inside that empty head trying to figure out how big bad Rangers can afford to buy a player.
It must really be eating him up inside.Absolutely delicious. https://t.co/wmF8W5nJ95 pic.twitter.com/ob74BExid9

Rent free. If all the obsessed mhanks & failed triallists paid the rent due, we would be buying Messi and Co. The hurt seeps out you & we absolutely love it. With BT sport away, you’re even more irrelevant. Pop back to Edinburgh Miguel,we revel in your pain. @JamTarts down too
