Sinclair and McGregor must start against Hearts today

Celtic have enjoyed a rich vein of form over the past month domestically as they continue to chase down a third successive treble.

The Hoops managed to secure a crushing 5-0 victory against Dundee last time out and are unbeaten in their last six domestic games, so things are definitely heading in the right direction.

Interestingly, Celtic will welcome Hearts to Parkhead in their next Scottish Premiership fixture. The Jambos failed to secure all three points against Hibernian last time out and were knocked out by Celtic in the League Cup last weekend, so they’ll be looking for revenge later on today.

With that in mind, Brendan Rodgers must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO¬†Celtic stars…

Scott Sinclair

Scott Sinclair has struggled to make a positive impact off the substitutes’ bench at times this season, but he found himself on the scoresheet against Dundee in a rare start for the winger.

Indeed, it’s clear to see that the Englishman can still offer a lot in the side and has the ability to contribute on a regular basis for the Hoops, so Rodgers must reward him for his efforts by gifting him a starting place today.

Callum McGregor

Callum McGregor has always been able to ensure consistency in all competition for the Hoops, with four goals and two assists to his name this season.

The attacking midfielder showed his versatility in Celtic’s last encounter as he was asked to fill the void left by Olivier Ntcham, who faces a race to be fit for today’s game. And, after putting in an accomplished performance in the Frenchman’s absence, Rodgers shouldn’t hesitate to ask for the exact same again today.
