Celtic are beginning to build up ahead of steam in the Scottish Premiership after a rather rough start, with the title well within their reach.
The Hoops are currently on a three-game winning streak in the Scottish Premiership with table-toppers Hearts now only three points ahead of Brendan Rodgers’ side.
However, Celtic will welcome Neil Lennon’s impressive Hibernian side to Parkhead in their next Scottish Premiership encounter.
Indeed, this will be a key game for a couple of the club’s first team members, with a disappointing showing possibly causing for them to be axed and frozen out of the side.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO players that could face axing if they don’t put in a huge performance…
Scott Sinclair has had to feed off scraps in the current campaign having failed to contribute enough during limited minutes on the field for the Hoops.
So, the winger desperately needs to put in a huge performance against Hibernian if he manages to make it onto the field or is gifted with a starting place, with the likes of Callum McGregor and James Forrest constantly performing.
The midfielder joined on a two-year deal during the summer transfer window but he just hasn’t been able to ensure consistency in the side, as one of the weak points on the field for the Hoops.
Brendan Rodgers has put his faith in the experienced midfielder at times and will no doubt gift him minutes in the side against Hibernian, but he could be axed from any future plans if he doesn’t make the most of the opportunity.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
