Celtic have enjoyed a positive run of form recently in the Scottish Premiership as they continue to hunt down a third successive treble under Brendan Rodgers.
The Hoops are finally building up ahead of steam at the perfect time in the top-flight of Scottish football, but improvements are certainly needed in the Europa League as their European woes continue.
Brendan Rodgers is still yet to get the best out of a couple of his first team members, with a lack of contributions and quality performances continuing halt his side’s progress. And, if the players don’t seek improvements in the near future then they could be on their way out in January.
So, these TWO Celtic players must start performing under Rodgers…
The pacey winger has certainly showed his class since making the move to Scotland, but he just hasn’t been able to ensure consistency in the current campaign under Brendan Rodgers.
Indeed, the Englishman continues to live life on the substitutes’ bench after failing to make the most of his limited opportunities in the starting lineup. And, with the likes of Callum McGregor and James Forrest constantly putting in world-class performances, it’s about time Scott Sinclair started backing them up.
Youssouf Mulumbu has made a rather nervy start to life at Parkhead following his move during the summer transfer window, with his inconsistent performances in the midfield costing the Hoops at times this season.
Of course, with the likes of Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham and Scott Brown all putting in performances of the highest order in the middle of midfield, it’s always going to be difficult to break into the side. But, the former West Bromwich Albion man hasn’t even posed a threat to the settled midfield line.
