Celtic have not enjoyed the best season so far under Brendan Rodgers, with the club struggling to put together a decent run of form.
The Bhoys have already suffered some disappointing defeats in the Scottish Premiership, whilst their European travels continue to be unsuccessful.
The pressure is thought to have been mounting on Rodgers over the last few weeks, however, one of the club’s legends has slammed one of his most important players.
“Tom Rogic? I have watched him a long time and I’d beat him in a race – even today!” he said.
“Rogic’s a good enough player, but put him out there when he has to look at the big picture? He’s not at the races.”
The criticism from Wallace appears to be a little harsh on the Australia international midfielder, especially when you consider how important he has been to the Bhoys over the years.
The 25-year-old has not played his best this season, however, he has been a vital component to Rodgers’ setup over the past couple of years and has helped the club lift numerous trophies since joining in 2013.
It could just be what Rogic needs to start performing again, however, it could be argued that there are other players more deserving of the legend’s criticism, rather than the Australian himself.
