It’s been a good couple of weeks for our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern, with many of them picking up confidence that some more silverware might be coming to Old Trafford this season, especially considering the success they’ve had in the Europa League!
Things are looking a lot rosier in the league too and with Liverpool slipping up of late, United are in a good position to pinch one of the coveted Champions League places, which could be a massive pulling factor when it comes to doing summer business over the next few months.
And better still, if they do secure European football, they’ll be in an excellent position to poach rival players too, who might fancy the challenge at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho.
And there’s a couple of players currently residing down at Stamford Bridge that we think would be an excellent fit in the United side and our Reds-mad punters certainly agree – even offering to pick them up themselves!
So with that in mind, here’s the 2 Chelsea wonderkids Manchester United need to attempt to sign this summer…
Tammy Abraham

Hot property doesn’t get much more exciting that Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, who has had a cracking season on-loan at Bristol City this season.
Despite the Robins’ precarious league position, Abraham has shone, scoring goal-after-goal and single-handedly pulling his team way from the relegation zone.
He’s got serious potential – should Mourinho be sizing him up?
Dominic Solanke

We’ve seen little from promising young striker Dominic Solanke this season at the Bridge and there’s little doubt the 19-year-old will be growing tired with the lack of game-time under Antonio Conte this season.
The underwhelming Michy Batshuayi is still getting preference despite delivering very little and he’s a player who has in the past been tipped for great things.
There’s nothing more than our Red Devils drinkers here in the pub would love more than bringing such a promising striker to Old Trafford and seeing him do well, right under Chelsea’s noses.
