Serious improvement needed: These 2 Man Utd men should go out on loan next season

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking ahead to a busy summer at Old Trafford. It’s has been hectic during recent transfer windows at the club, with Jose Mourinho never afraid to spend big to bring a few huge names in.

That’s unlikely to change this summer, too, with Man Utd clearly needing to play catch-up to Man City.

The Citizens have run away with the Premier League title this season, and so to stand any chance of catching up, Jose Mourinho must be given free reign to plug the gap between the two squads.

That will likely lead to a few major acquisitions, but that could have a negative effect on a few of the players currently within the Man Utd squad.

For some, game time and minutes will become too hard to come by, and so a loan move could beckon next season.

With that said, these 2 Man Utd men should go out on loan next season…

 Scott McTominay

Scott McTominay has had a breakout year at Man Utd, and it’s clear that he has a very bright future ahead of him.

However, what he needs now is to be playing every week. Regular game time could make him go from a player with great potential – to just a great player.

Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t been given that many opportunities over the last few weeks, and with a few signings likely this summer, those chances will only dwindle further.

A year away, much like Ruben Loftus-Cheek at Chelsea, could be the making of him.

 Angel Gomes

Angel Gomes has incredible raw talent, but he hasn’t had much of a chance to show that yet.

He’s the sort of player that can create magic out of nothing, and so he could be a useful asset for any number of sides.

Unfortunately for him, though, the Man Utd attack is filled with talent, and so any chances will likely be hard to come by.

A year away could really aid his development.
