Sheffield Wednesday take on Blackburn Rovers this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship with the Owls looking like a side capable of challenging for the top six this season.
The men from Hillsborough bounced back from a recent poor run of league form with a fine win over Leeds United last time out and now they must look to build on that with another three points against Rovers.
Certainly, there’s a good chance the Owls could make the playoffs this season but only if they are consistent enough and it remains to be seen just how they look to strengthen their position through additions this January transfer window.
One man that has already come in is Manuel Hidalgo – though it is likely that he’ll reside in the u23 side for now.
Even so, footage has emerged of him online showcasing some of his ability and Owls fans have discussed that on Twitter.
