Sheffield Wednesday fans are full of praise for Julian Börner following a recent discussion on Twitter.
After Twitter fan account @Owls_HQ asked fellow supporters what they thought of their German centre-back, positive comments have come flooding in.

Börner signed for Wednesday last summer from second division German side Arminia Bielefeld after spending his entire career in his native country (via BBC Sport). The defender captained his former side and scored 19 goals in 149 appearances in total (via Transfermarkt).
Since he joined the Yorkshire outfit, the 29-year-old has missed just six matches in the Championship, totalling 30 league appearances in all.

Owls fans are discussing the season he has had so far in Wednesday colours and many are impressed with his performances. One supporter has branded him ‘brilliant’ whilst another has commented ‘Once Monk goes we’ll hopefully see the best of him again’.
