Some Sheffield Wednesday fans gushed over the latest performance they witnessed from Dominic Iorfa on Twitter after he helped them defeat Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls had two late goals from Jacob Murphy and Adthe Nuhiu to thank as they picked up three points over their fierce Yorkshire rivals and maintained their own promotion push as they ended the day in a Championship play-off spot.
Indeed, the win comes at a good time for Garry Monk’s side as Wednesday had been on a winless run that stretched to three games (BBC).
Whilst fans would have been understandably delighted with the victory over the Whites, many took to Twitter to laud Iorfa’s performance.
Many of them raved over how important he has been to their defence, whilst others mentioned that they could not believe they managed to sign him from Wolverhampton Wanderers last January (per BBC).
One even went as far to describe the 24-year-old centre-back as an “absolute beast”, whilst others want Monk to take note and play him from the beginning alongside Julian Borner.
