Sheffield Wednesday have missed several opportunities to close the gap to the top two in recent weeks and fans have let their side know about their frustrations of it all.
Still in a good position in terms of the play-off race, the Owls know that if they can get on a run of form they could well be in the top six come the end of the season.
However, like most of the division right now, stringing results together is proving tough and the sense of frustration around the club because of that is palpable.
Work to do in 2020 for the Owls, then, and they get their first chance to get three points in the new year tomorrow against Hull City.
Sam Winnall has spoken about how his team will be looking to put things right, too, but a lot of fans have let him know that, unfortunately, they have heard such words before to no avail.
