Sheffield Wednesday may have been able to take all three points from fierce Yorkshire rivals Leeds United on Saturday afternoon, however many were left lamenting the decisions Garry Monk had made during the game on Twitter.

Indeed, late efforts from Jacob Murphy and Adthe Nuhiu were enough to give the Owls the victory at Elland Road and ensure they would not be beaten by Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the Championship this season – having drawn the game at Hillsborough in October (per BBC).
The win meant Wednesday would keep their place in the play-offs as they look to keep their own promotion hopes to the Premier League alive, whilst it also helped them end a concerning three-league game losing streak (per BBC).
Whilst the victory would have likely have sent the Wednesdaynites into raptures, there were some that were left critical of Monk’s decision making throughout the match.
It may not have cost them at Elland Road, however fans felt that some of the substitutions the manager was making were not the correct decision to make and left many scratching their heads as to what the 40-year-old was trying to achieve.
Here are just some of their reactions to Monk’s actions…
