Sheffield Wednesday’s run of big fixtures continues this weekend as the Owls take on Bristol City on Sunday lunchtime in the Sky Bet Championship.
The men from Hillsborough have had a good campaign so far under Garry Monk and currently sit in the top six after hammering Nottingham Forest 4-0 last time out.
However, there is still plenty of work to do for the Owls before they can think about getting back into the Premier League and the continued financial concerns rumble on away from the pitch as a potential distraction.
It relates to the sale of Hillsborough and Wednesday have released a statement to say that they have issued a claim against the EFL for allegedly “acting unlawfully.”
This relates to the EFL charging them over the sale of Hillsborough to owner Dejphon Chansiri and, that in mind, there’s been plenty said on Twitter.
