Sheffield Wednesday are back in the top six of the Sky Bet Championship table and will be looking to get themselves further into that after their win over Leeds United last time out.
It was a performance that should serve as a reminder that the Owls do have real quality in their side and with a bit of consistency they could get themselves into the Premier League come the end of the season.
They’ve got to keep earning the points, though, with Blackburn Rovers up next in the league on Saturday.
Even so, Garry Monk will be pleased so far with what he has seen from his squad and it remains to be seen if the likes of Fernando Forestieri can force themselves into the side.
The Owls celebrated his birthday yesterday but a fair few fans had negative things to say about him and took the chance to illustrate that.
