Southampton are now up to third in the Premier League after their latest victory against Sheffield United, and Jannik Vestergaard was in top form for the Saints.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side defeated the Blades 3-0 thanks to goals from Che Adams, Stuart Armstrong and Nathan Redmond. As it stands, they are in the Champions League spots, although a number of sides below them are still to play this matchday. The south-coast outfit continue to impress under their Austrian manager.

Denmark international Vestergaard was particularly impressive at St. Mary’s Stadium, which hosted supporters for the first time this season. The Saints were able to pick up another clean sheet, and the former Borussia Monchengladbach man was essential to that.
