Wright suggests that Real Madrid are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer as they try to beat Arsenal and Chelsea to his signature.

The French international midfielder has emerged as one of the most promising midfield talents in Europe following his switch from Manchester United to Turin in 2012.

Pogba decided to further his career by departing Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson as he sought more regular first-team football away from Manchester.

The 20-year-old has been in fine form this term with eight goals to his name and 12 assists for his side, therefore it is no surprise to see some of Europe’s biggest clubs wanting his services.

It was thought that his next port of call could be a return to England with both Chelsea and Arsenal demonstrating strong interest but now Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is looking at the ‘complete midfielder’.

Referring to Pogba, Ancelotti said: “He’s a great player. He’s doing a very good job at a great club. He’s a very complete midfielder.

“Sign him? Why not. He’s one of the best young midfielders alongside (Marco) Verratti and Isco.”
