Tottenham remain interested in Crystal Palace talisman Eberechi Eze. Following a long term injury to James Maddison, Spurs have intensified their search for a No.10 this summer and are assessing several options.
They had an approach for Morgan Gibbs-White rejected earlier in the summer, and recently launched an unsuccessful bid for Como star Nico Paz. Spurs also contacted Man City earlier this week over winger Savinho as the club look to put the finishing touches on their squad before the transfer window closes.
Eze remains a long term target of Tottenham, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Spurs are back in talks with the player. Romano adds that Spurs are working deals for both Eze and Savinho following the departure of Son Heung-min and the injury to James Maddison.
Eze is reportedly keen on the move as he has expressed his desire to play Champions League football.
Spurs remain keen on Eze

Newly crowned Community Shield winner Eze is a wanted man this summer, with Tottenham’s fierce North London rivals Arsenal also known to be admirers. Eze scored 14 goals across all competitions for Palace last season, including the winner against City in Palace’s 1-0 victory in the FA Cup final.
Arsenal were tipped for a move for the player for the most of the summer, but are understood to be prioritizing departures to free up funds as well as space in the squad. Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Leandro Trossard have all been linked with exits this summer as Arsenal look to recoup some of the nearly £200m spent on transfers.
The delay from Arsenal is believed to have opened to the door for Spurs, as reported by the Guardian who claim Tottenham will look to negotiate a fee lower than the player’s £68m release clause. Eze’s contract at Palace expires in the summer or 2027 and Palace will be resigned to losing their most influential player.
