Tottenham: Spurs fans react to links with Wolves striker Raul Jimenez

Tottenham fans discuss reports that the club are keen on making a move for Wolves forward Raul Jimenez.

The Mexico international has enjoyed yet another stellar campaign at Molineux this season, bagging an impressive 22 goals in just 44 matches across all competitions, as well as providing a further ten assists too.

The 28-year-old was linked with a potential move to Premier League rivals Manchester United in the January transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise before the end of the deadline.

Now, French publication Soccer Link have claimed Spurs are keen on signing him, and that Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes could help Jose Mourinho’s quest to land one of his key striker targets.

After hearing about the report on the £36m-rated Jimenez, Spurs fans flooded to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the situation.

This would be my choice of striker. Class.

Would be a good signing

@SeanPhillip15 won’t happen but I’d be all for it

Love this to happen, but can only see it If we sold a few players, plus with levys prices that’s always hard work.

Exquisite. Then two up top will be fantastic and both will provide elite link up play with the wide players and other attackers. Also slows to give one a rest and play the other as well as play both at same time

That can’t happen. Raul is an amazing player though.

This is the signing we need!

This would be a dream. Harry needs someone that can push him to be his best.
