Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling rather pleased with how things went over the weekend after they beat Birmingham in the derby.
Whilst the Villans are now looking forward to trying to get promotion next season, their Blues rivals are certainly not sure of where they’ll be next campaign with relegation potentially on the cards.
Even so, the Villa Park faithful won’t care one bit after they saw Gabby Agbonlahor make himself known again in a closely fought match.
And, in light of that, Jack Grealish was quick to praise the forward on Twitter after the game – as well as affording a mention to the fans who had created a superb atmosphere.
The Villans’ support, then, were quick to respond to this, and so here is what was said:
