Rangers will meet Villarreal next week in their upcoming Europa League tie as they look to progress to the next round of the Europa League competition.
The La Liga side have been struggling in across all competitive football so far this season, having recorded a number of draws, however, it appears that Steven Gerrard could have been handed some bad news ahead of the game.
Carlos Bacca, Bruno Soriano and Javi Fuego are all in contention to make their returns for Villarreal as they look to cement their place at the top of the group.
Gerrard will be particularly concerned with the news that Bacca is available, as the Colombia international is rather clinical in front of goal and will likely test the Light Blues with his ability should he feature.
The Verdict:

Rangers will have been looking to have improved on the 2-2 draw with Villarreal back in September, however, the news of the trio being available will have come as bad news for Gerrard and his side.
Bacca is an extremely dangerous player for the Spanish side and could be a real threat to the Ibrox outfit’s chances of getting a positive result.
Following the defeat to Spartak Moscow in the previous game, Rangers’ chances of reaching the next round of the Europa League remain in their hands, although a defeat could make it extremely tough for them to do so.
