The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been slating their own club after the Manchester club tweeted a happy birthday message to their most expensive ever player, Paul Pogba. Fans of the club are still feeling the defeat to Sevilla on Tuesday night that knocked them out of the Champions League.
The United fans propping our bar up are gutted that they’ll have to watch tomorrow’s Champions League draw go ahead without their team being amongst the last eight, as they crashed out if Europe at the hands of Sevilla on Tuesday. Considering the loss earlier in the week, the Old Trafford faithful have questioned the public tweet to Pogba, given his shocking performance off the bench as Sevilla ran riot in the last 20 minutes in Manchester.
United fans have taken aim at their club, and at Pogba, in response to the congratulatory tweet earlier today. The last few seasons have led to a number of United fans kicking up over the style of football being deployed at Old Trafford, as those associated with the club have been used to watching teams come to United in fear of being torn apart.
